DANG: Seven people were injured from a jackal attack at Tulsipur-8 in Dang on Friday.

The injured—Goma Gautam, Pushparaj Gautam, Khimlal Bhandari, Giriraj Lamichhane, Saraswati Lamichhane, Buddhiram Chaudhary and Bindu Chaudhary—sustained injuries caused by the animal bite over their body parts. They are receiving treatment at local health facility, local people said.

The jackal was straying from the nearby forest attacked them.

Some of the injured were staying at their homes, while others were walking on the streets when the incident occurred.
