HETAUDA: Vehicular movement along two shortcut routes that link Kathmandu with Hetauda has been disrupted due to landslides in Indrasarobar Rural Municipality of Makawanpur district since this morning.

The landslides at Sisneri and Fakhel have completely obstructed  Hetauda-Sisneri-Kathmandu road section and Hetauda-Fakhel-Kathmandu road section.

Meanwhile, vehicles that run along the road sections have been stranded due to the landslides.

Efforts are ongoing to open both the obstructed roads by clearing the debris using bulldozers, said Superintendent of Police (SP) Mahesh Kumar Singh at Makwanpur District Police Office.
