JANAKPURDHAM: Nepal Police paraded Chandra Deep Yadav aka Dharti Singh and four others, who were arrested on charge of murder of Arun Singhaniya here in Janakpurdham today.

Yadav is said to be the mastermind behind the 2011 murder of the media entrepreneur.

Two of the other suspects are identified as Kalyani Devi Yadav and Sundeshwar Thakur. Kalayani Devi is allegedly Chandra Deep's girlfriend.

Police said they have seized two pistols, 31 bullets, four mobile phones, and 12 Nepali and two India cards of Nepali from their possession. Also, 73 bottles of cough syrup with brand name Corex and several documents including donation receipt pads of Janatantrik Tiger Janashakti were also seized.

Acting on a tip-off, Chandra Deep Yadav and others were arrested on Tuesday night.
