Six houses gutted in two incidents of fire in Bhojpur
BHOJPUR: Six houses gutted in two separate incidents of fire in Bhojpur district in eastern Nepal on Friday.
Five houses were reduced to cinders after a fire broke out from one Kumar Shrestha's kitchen house and spread the neighbourhood at Dandakharka of the district this afternoon, according to the District Police Office.
A cowshed was also destroyed in the incident that took place at around 1 pm.
Loss of property is yet to be estimated, police said.
Earlier in the morning, a house was destroyed in Bokhim in another incident of fire.
Properties, including gold ornaments, cash, food grains and clothes, were destroyed in the incident, according to police.
