KATHMANDU: At least six persons were injured after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Kolbung in Ilam district on Wednesday.

The bus (Na 5 Kha 6321) was heading towards Rautahat from Kolbung when the accident took place.

Following the incident, all the injured were rushed to a hospital in Jhapa for treatment, police said.

Among the injured, Raju Sahu (55) of Rautahat-8 is said to be in critical condition.

Police said that they have impounded the vehicle and arrested its driver for investigation.
