JANAKPUR: Six UCPN-Maoist cadres were injured when they clashed with police in Janakpur today. The incident took place after the demonstrators showed black flags to Minister for Labour and Transport

Dhanusha district committee member of the UCPN-Maoist Devsagar Das and YCL Dhanusha coordinator Shyam Yadav are among the injured. They are undergoing treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital.

The police baton-charged the Maoist cadres after they tried to stop minister Alam on his way to Dhanusha DDC. The Maoists' Dhanusha in-charge Roshan Janakpuri, said condition of four of the injured is serious.
