Dadeldhura, March 7:

The number of students appearing in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations has gone up in Dadeldhura district as compared to the past.

According to District Education Office (DEO), 2,399 students will appear in SLC examinations from the district this year. Last year, 1,751 students appeared in the exams.

Two more exam centres have been added this year. The Examinations Control Office had given permission to set up exam centres in Bhageshwor Secondary School, and Saraswoti Secondary School.

According to the DEO, other centres are Mahendra Namuna Higher Secondary School, Khalanga, Ugratara HS School, Pokhara, Siddhanath HS School, Jogbudha, and Bhuwaneshwori HS School, Basantapur.
