SLC exams: Cop injured in Jajarkot attack
JAJARKOT: A police constable was injured in chaos that took place outside a local school of Jajarkot district on the first day of SLC examinations.
Amar Bahadur Nepali lost his one tooth after an unidentified youth pelted stones at the police personnel while they were managing the crowd of students that had gathered at the Janata Higher Secondary in Painka before the examination started.
Injured Amar Bahadur, deployed at the Painka Police Beat, is being treated at a local medical clinic, informed the District Police Office, Jajarkot.
An inspection team including Chief District Officer suspended three students- Tulsa Pun, Yasoda Batala and Jaya Bahadur Shahi- after they were caught cheating at the Tribhuvan Higher Secondary School of Khalanga, the district headquarters.
Similarly, police informed that a helper of the Sirpachaur Secondary School Padam Bahadur was arrested for trying to leak the question paper from the Panchala Secondary School.
