Kapilvastu, May 3 :

The Office of the Controller of Examinations has made preparations to conduct the SLC re-examination in Kapilvastu from May 10 to 21.

The exam is being re-held as the SLC answer sheets kept at the District Police Office were burnt in the Maoists’ attack in Taulihawa on April 7, the very next day of the conclusion of SLC examinations. Altogether 1302 students from 27 schools of had appeared in the exams at the eight centres in the headquarters. Twelve students absented themselves, an officer at the branch, Khimananda KC, said. The absentees will also be allowed to appear in the re-exams.
