Students and parents of a private school in Gaur have been infuriated after the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examination of the school were not published.

Twenty-seven students including 20 male and seven female students of Mitra Memorial English Boarding School had appeared in the SLC examination, but their results did not publish on Sunday.

“Though we had sent the marks of practical examination to District Education Office, the results have not been published,” principal of the school, Naresh Keshari said. Keshari claimed that the results of his students were not published because the DEO did not send the marks of practical examinations to the OEC.

However, District Education Officer Rambrichhya Shah claimed that results of the school were not published on time due to the carelessness of the Office of the Examination Controller. He added that the results would be published soon.
