RUKUM: Police paraded two persons, who were arrested in possession of hashish from separate places of Rukum district, at the District Police Office on Sunday.

Devidetta Budha, 25, of Sarmi VDC, Dolpa, was held with 700 grams of the contraband and Dipak Budha, 32, of Taksera VDC, Rukum, was held with 79.43 grams hashish.

Police said Devidetta was arrested during security check of Jhulneta Police Post while he was heading towards Kathmandu from Rukum in a bus.

DSP Rupesh Khadka, of DPO, said police arrested Dipak on Saturday.

He had hidden the hashish in his rented room at Mushikot Municipality of the district.
