Goit's outfit plants bombs at Rajbiraj businessmen's houses

RAJBIRAJ: Two socket bombs were found planted at houses of two businessmen in Rajbiraj of Saptari district this morning.

The homemade bombs were discovered in the compounds of Binod Chaudhary (Das) in Rajbiraj-4 and of Rabindra Yadav aka Chhotu in Rajbiraj-5, informed the Saptari District Police Office (DPO).

The bomb at Chaudhary's house was discovered at around 6:30 am and that at Yadav's house was discovered at around 9 am today.

Bomb disposal squads from Nepal Army's Krishna Dal Battalion were sent to the sites to defuse the explosives, according to the DPO.

Police said they found leaflets of the Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha led by Jayakrishna Goit from Chaudhary's compound.

Meanwhile, Goit's outfit issued a statement today, saying the bombs were planted as the two businessmen did not give his party any donation to foil the upcoming elections.
