Preparation to install solar lights is underway at different places of Khotehang Rural Municipality in Khotang.

Department of Environment, Energy and Climate Change has already approved a budget of Rs 1.9 million to install as many as 30 solar lights at different places of the rural municipality. According to Chief at District Coordination Committee Babi Chamling, the department of environment and energy has contributed 70 per cent amount and the rural municipality has contributed 30 per cent amount  to install street lights in Khotang Bazaar.
