Speaker stresses unity among political forces
Dhading, September 4:
Speaker Subas Nembang today stressed the need for unity among all political forces for moving ahead in the present context of the country.
Inaugurating a cultural show organised in Dharke of Dhading, Nembang said that the nation has been moving ahead by solving several challenges and important achievements have been gained in the course of solving such challenges.
Pointing to the King, he said: “The prime minister has been attending all the functions
that kings used to attend. This is an achievement.”
Saying the act of Sunday’s bomb blasts in the capital was against the humanity, he said all political parties should go ahead in unison against such activities.
“The political parities have to stop alleging each other in public functions and have to take decisions through mutual discussions,” he said.
Minister for Information and Communications Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the CA polls should be viewed as one of the important events.
Saying that people should be alert of anti-constitutional and anarchic forces, he said: “If all political forces go ahead without repeating previous mistakes, people’s sentiments will be fulfilled.”
UML central member Rajendra Pandey, Nepali Congress district president Ramnath Adhikary,
MP Shaligram Jamarkattel, general secretary of Nepal Transport Independent Workers’ Association, Bidur Karki, and its vice-chairman Shiv Regmi also spoke on the occasion.
