Kathmandu, May 17:

Astrologers are of the view that the country could be in for a way out of the longstanding impasse soon.

There are claims that the period between now and July 26 could see an end to the intra-party wrangling to begin with. This is further expected to set the tone for a possible solution to the Maoist insurgency.

Importantly, the powers that be stand advised that they utilise the “transitional period” to restore peace and stability.

“Favourable planetary configuration indicates a positive change within the next 100 days,” the refrain goes.

“The King would take the initiative towards establishing peace with a possible reshuffle in

the Cabinet,” said astrologer Angirash Neupane at a programme organised at the Reporters’ Club here today.

He dismissed former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa’s claims that a major political change is on the cards.

Senior astrologer Ojraj Upadhyaya Lohani, too, claimed that the period till July 26 is auspicious for those in power. He, however, said matters could worsen if this chance is missed.

Upadhyaya suggested the capital be shifted to some other part of the country. This, he argued, would undoubtedly help in “establishing permanent peace.”

Acharya Dhruv, who contributes to the daily astrological updates to The Himalayan Times, too, hinted at a possible improvement in the current situation and establishment of peace within this year.

“Be assured...peace will be back within this year for sure,” he said.
