‘Status-quoist model’
RAJBIRAJ: Nepal Sadbhawana Party Chair Anil Kumar Jha on Monday said that the six-province federal model was status-quoist.
Speaking at an interaction in Rajbiraj, Jha held that the new statute should incorporate demands of Madhesi, Dalits, ethnic groups, women and people from backward communities.
He insisted that the six-province model had failed to reflect the feeling of change. “The model has robbed Madhesi and marginalised people of their rights and identity,” he said.
