Dhankuta, December 10:

Students from acdemic institutions in Dhankuta called for an indefinite strike against the Education Act Amendment Bill from today.

Dhankuta Campus, Higher Education Campus, Technical institute, remained closed. The lock out at Eastern Regional Education Directorate and the Dhankuta District Education Office have not been lifted yet.

Meanwhile, students of the education faculty in Gauri Shankar HSS staged a chakkajam on Nijgarhthis morning.
