Surkhet, January 26:

Students here today warned of an agitation if action was not taken against those involved in torturing Hitman Ramjali (15), a ninth grader at Tripureshwor Secondary School in Dodekhali, who committed suicide on January 22 following the torture.

The warning was issued saying that the local administration was delaying action against the teachers who are accused of mentally and physically torturing Ramjali.

The students warned of indefinite closure of private and boarding schools in the district from January 28 if action was not taken against the culprits. The students said teachers, including headmaster Mahendra Sharma, and deceased’s father Jeet Bahadur were responsible for Ramjali’s suicide.
