KATHMANDU: Chief Minister of Sudurpashchim  Province Trilochan Bhatta has sacked Social Development Minister of the province today.

Social Development Minister Dirgha Sodari was relieved of his duties due to some internal dispute between the Chief Minister and the Minister.

According to Nepal Communist Party (NCP) sources, Sodari was removed on party's directive following a controversy regarding his involvement in an issue related to a recent road accident.

A vehicle which was being used by the Social Development Minister had collided with a motorcycle during Tihar leaving four people injured. Minister Sodari was not in the vehicle at the moment.

Lawmaker Krishna Raj Subedi is likely to replace Sodari as the Social Development Minister. Sodari was elected to the Provincial Assembly from Kailali.

Recently, Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel had also sacked Physical Development and Infrastructure Minister of the Province, Keshav Sthapit, over an internal dispute.
