KAVRE: Dhulikhel Hospital launched a laparoscopy surgery course to impart theoretical as well as practical knowledge and skills to medical doctors working in laparoscopy departments from Friday. The hospital started the three-day course in collaboration with Britain’s Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Health Exchange Nepal. Trainers coming from the UK will train the gynaecologists and staffers on removing appendicitis, hernia and obstetrics, said obstetrician Dr Suman Tamrakar. As many as 16 surgeons and gynaecologists are participating in the training.
