KALAIYA: As many as 12 persons from Itahar of Narahi Village Development Committee, Bara, were tested positive for swine flu, according to the Disease Control Division under the Ministry of Health and Population. A team of physicians deployed by the Disease Control Division detected the swine flu cases while examining some 17 patients. The swine flu patients, most of whom are children, are reported to have caught fever a fortnight ago. According to Dr Shankar Gupta, Chief of the division, Bara, another team will be sent to the locality soon to prevent spread of the disease.
