BIRATNAGAR: A foreigner died in course of taking a photo in Lukla of Solukhumbu district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Jacquesn Eric Morzier (72) from Switzerland, informed the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, quoting the Area Police Office, Lukla.

The incident took place when he collapsed in course of capturing a photo in a parents' day and result distribution programme at the Lukla Primary School in Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality-2.

He had received an injury in his head in the incident and died in course of treatment at the local Pasang Lhamu Niki Hospital.

He had been providing financial support to the school.
