DAMAULI: An elderly man died after being hit by a motorcycle in Tanahun district on Wednesday.

Pedestrian Nim Narayan Malla (74) was seriously injured after being hit by the two-wheeler which did not have any registration number at Chang VDC-3 in the district.

Malla breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Pokhara-based Gandaki Medical College, said Tanahun District Police Office.

Police said the motorcyclist Sanjok Shahi of Shuklagandaki Municipality-5 has been detained for further investigation.
