Tanahun families relocated after Seti flood

DAMAULI: As many as 11 families have been shifted to a safer place on Monday after a flood in Seti River put their houses at a high risk.

The locals of Pulchok, Shuklagandaki Municipality-3 were relocated on Monday.

After incessant rainfall, the flooded river was about to sweep away the houses, said Tanahun District Police Office Spokesperson DSP Surendra Bahadur Gurung.

After the relocation, the 65 members of those households are now safe, he added.
