Damauli, July 13

Nirmal Secondary School at Bhadgaun of Byas Municipality in Tanahun has been declared a model school. The school was selected after it met various criteria set by the Department of Education.

A secretarial level meeting of the government declared the school as the country’s model school on July 9 on the basis of a  report prepared by the DoE monitoring team.

“Classes of varieties of subjects, facility of internet and electricity, remarkable number of students and results of SLC and SEE in the past three years, among others, were the indicators set by the department,” said head teacher Ganesh Chandra Basnet.
