TANAHUN: A 15-year-old girl was found dead in an apparent suicide case in Chhang village of Tanahun district on Monday morning.

Usha Gurung, daughter of local Bel Bahadur Gurung, was found dead with a noose of nylon rope around her neck, this morning.

The girl reportedly hanged herself to a ceiling fan.

Parents had turned suspicious after the teen, who had gone to the bed after dinner last night, did not wake up till late morning today.

The body is being brought to the district headquarters.

Police are yet to determine the cause of her suicide and further investigation is underway.

According to police, incidents of suicide are increasing in the district of late.
