BHOJPUR: A man died after falling off a cliff in Taplejung district on Thursday.

Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, has identified the deceased as Khadak Bahadur Bhandari (34) of Tellok VDC-7 in the district.

The victim's family had begun the search after Bhandari, who had gone to the district headquarters to apply for his passport, did not show up till five days.

The worried family members recovered the body near his house on Thursday, police said.
