Kathmandu, June 11:

The parliamentary task force today held discussions on the Bill regarding the Elections of the Members of the Constituent Assembly 2007.

The task force decided to provide authority to the parties to forward a closed-list of candidates to be elected through a proportional representation system.

A closed-list of the candidates will be forwarded to the Election Commission before the polls.

Later, the political parties will finalise the priority list of candidates for the constituent assembly.
