BHOJPUR: A teacher drowned in a canal in Ramdhuni Bhasi Municipality-4 of Sunsari district on Saturday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Chandra Dev Chaudhary (40), a teacher in Shivanagar Secondary School drowned into the canal after suddenly slipping into it while walking.

The police team deployed from Area Police of Pokali is doing further investigation.
