TAPLEJUNG: All the schools in Dhungesangu VDC of Taplejung have been closed protesting “an insulting act” done by the leaders of political parties to Janalal Tembe, a teacher of Mouwakhola Higher Secondary School on Thursday. Protesting teachers said they shut down all schools after local residents made a teacher beg for apology over an issue of punishing a student. Meanwhile, school teachers of Fakumba VDC too announced the closure of schools in the VDC on Friday in support of the agitation.
