Teams to watch private schools

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Education has formed teams to monitor private schools outside the Kathmandu valley.

"Two teams to monitor the fee structure, teachers' salary, and implementation of regulations in the private schools will set out tomorrow to the eastern and western part of the country," said Suprabhat Bhandary, member of the team assigned to the western Nepal said. "We will scrutinize whether the private schools have followed the government regulations," he added.

According to Bhandary, each of the team comprises representatives from the government, teachers, guardians and private schools. Both the teams are expected to complete its task within a week and submit its reports to the concerned departments.
