KATHMANDU: Education experts today underscored the need of technical education to address the prevalent unemployment problem in the country. Speaking at an interaction and felicitation programme organised by New Nepal Press Club, Dr Mangal Siddhi Manandhar, CA member, opined that technical education would give the skills for various works. "Thousands of Nepalis are going abroad without any skills," he said, adding, "If we can enhance their skill and trainings, they are able to send home more remittance.” He, however, accused the state for not creating conducive environment for vocational training in the country. He mentioned that only 50,000 people out of 450,000 who join the employment sector could get proper training in the country. He urged the state to invest more in technical education sector.
