HETAUDA: A teenage girl died on the spot after a motorcycle she was riding on collided with a bus at Ramantar along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section on Saturday evening.

The deceased has been identified as pillion rider Junu Syangtan (18) of Ramantar in Manari Rural Municipality-7 in Makawanpur district. Motorcyclist Manish Lama of the same place sustained critical injuries in the incident, police said.

The bus (Na 3 kha 7386) heading to Chitwan from Hetaunda collided head-on with the motorcycle (Na 37 Pa 4067) killing Syangtan and injuring Lama at Ramantar yesterday evening, according to the Area Police Office (APO), Manari.

Meanwhile, Lama is undergoing treatment at the Chitwan-based Bharatpur Hospital.
