13-year-old girl found dead in Pokhara

POKHARA: The body of a girl has been found near a cliff in Phapartaro-based Shailaja Park in Pokhara Metropolitan City-19 of Kaski district, on Friday evening.

The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Pushpa KC of Jimire in Lamachaur of Pokhara Metropolitan City-19.

It has been reported that KC, a sixth grader at Vindhyavasini Secondary School, Batulechaur in the metropolis-16 went missing soon after she returned from the school on Thursday. The school bus had dropped her near her home at a distance of 300 metres, at around 4:30. She did not reach her home.

Subsequently, the family members of KC and local residents started searching for her, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rabindra Gurung at Kaski District Police Office informed.
