PHIDIM: A mother and her daughter appeared in SLC examinations together at Durga Higher Secondary exam centre in Panchthar on Wednesday.

Manita Rai, 33, and her 15-year-old daughter Nisha Rai of Rabi VDC-5 appeared in the exam, according to exam superintendent Rajendra Kumar Budhathoki. Both attended the exam as regular students. While Manita is a student of Durga Higher Secondary School Durga is of Mt Kanchan Valley Boarding School.
