Third dialysis?

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli might have to undergo haemodialysis for the third time on Saturday, according to sources.

The PM was discharged from Grande International Hospital on Thursday after undergoing dialysis twice. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday. Although the PM’s Secretariat and the government are mum on Oli’s health status, sources claimed the hospital had been directed to remain on standby for Oli’s  dialysis as there were some health issues and he might have to be  rushed to the hospital on Friday night itself.

Oli’s Press Adviser Kundan Aryal, however, said Oli was stable and recovering at Baluwatar under constant medical supervision. Aryal said Oli even held a meeting with Nepal Communist Party Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal and General  Secretary Bishnu Paudel on Friday. “Let’s not run behind rumours,” he  said. “The doctors have not yet advised the PM to go for another dialysis.”
