Three arrested with drugs

Police arrested three persons from Nagdhunga check post today for carrying drugs. The three were arrested when police was checking the vehicles entering Kathmandu via the check post.

Krishna Das, 16, a resident of Boderbarsigh Municipality of Saptari was arrested for bringing drugs secretly. The drugs were found in his bags during the search. Das was arrested with 320 tablets of nitravet, 230 injections of phenergan and 197 ampules of Buprenorphine injection. He was arrested from a public bus heading to Kathmandu from Udaypur.

Similarly, Narbahadur Budha, a resident of Simkot Rural Municipality-8, Humla, was arrested by a police team deployed at the check post. Budha, who was travelling from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu in a public bus was found to be carrying 920 ampules of nitravet.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Sagar Tamang, a resident of Mulung, Dhading, for carrying 500 grams hashish.
