Three arrested for anti-election activities in Chitwan

CHITWAN: The District Police Office, Chitwan on Wednesday night has arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in anti-election activities.

The trio-Raghubir Sharma, Area In-charge of Biplab-led Nepal Communist Party,  Ram Bahadur Lama and Roshan Karki, the cadres of the party- were found forcing candidates of various political parties to withdraw their candidacy, installing black flags in candidate's homes among other activities, police said.

They have also been accused of extorting money and will be prosecuted as per the law, Chitwan police chief SP Dipak Thapa said.
