SIRAHA: Police arrested three persons in connection with the murder of Suman Mandal of Kalyanpur-9 in Siraha, from the district on Tuesday evening.

Citing security reasons, police are yet to disclose their names and addresses.

Mandal (17), who had gone missing since September 8, was found dead near Lohajara River in Kalyanpur VDC-1 four days after the disappearance.

He had sustained burn injuries on his face while his left leg had biting marks from a wild animal.

The body has been sent to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for autopsy, he said.

Police are waiting for the autopsy report for any further details.

They are also searching for other suspects.
