Siraha, January 23:

Locals exhumed three dead bodies on the banks of the Kamala river at Nirdana Tole in Siraha’s Chikana VDC last evening. An unidentified gang had abducted the three persons at Nirdana Tole in Chakana VDC on January 20.

Satya Narayan Yadav alias Gugali, 18, son of Ram Narayan Yadav of Bishnupur Prara-4 Dadaul, Prem Chand Thakur alias Nem Kumar,18, of the same locality and Ram Ekwal Yadav, 19, were found dead, said Siraha district police office quoting the locals. The three bodies were taken to the Siraha hospital for the post-mortem.

Although it was speculated that they were former cadres of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Jwala, it is still not known as to which organisation they were affiliated with and who killed them.

Meanwhile, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Siraha has confirmed that Ram Ekwal was treasurer for their Bishnupur Prara-4 Dadaul unit-committee and condemned his death. Nepal Congress Siraha’s chairperson Sita Devi Yadav has said that the three persons were not affiliated to her party.
