POKAHARA: Police arrested three persons with possession of pharmaceutical drugs from lakeside of Pokhara on Monday.

The suspects have been identified as Arun Tamang (25) of Pokhara -17, Mohan Gurung (37) of Phedikhola, Syangja district and Sharmila Khajum (28) of Damak Municipality-1, Jhapa district.

Acting on a tip-off that three persons were selling pharmaceutical drugs from a car (Ga 1 Cha 6790), a police team deployed from the District Police Office, Kaski, swung into action and nabbed them.

Police said that they confiscated 13 pieces each of diazepam, lupigesic and phenergan from their possession.
