Janakpur, May 29:

Three persons were injured when a socket bomb went off at Janaki chowk in Janakpur tonight, police said. The injured include Ram Dulari of Devi Chowk, Sohan Thakur of Janakpur-8 and Kul Hari Gautam, a permanent resident of Sindhuli. No-one has owned up the blast.

Meanwhile, a report from Rajbiraj said cadres of the Jay Krishna Goit-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-G) yesterday night detonated a bomb at a police post in Pakari VDC, Saptari. The JTMM-G cadres also detonated a bomb in the Manakamana Hotel at Mahuli in the district yesterday evening. No one was, however, hurt in the blast.
