KATHMANDU: Three persons were killed and eight others were injured when a jeep met with an accident at Thulopairo in Dhairing VDC-3 of Parbat district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Ram Maya Damai (50) of Jyamrukot VDC-3 in Myagdi, Dil Kumari Budhathoki (30) of Ribhan-9 in Kaski and Hari Maya Pun (60) of the same locality, according to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5102) had fallen around 200 metres down the dirt road after it suffered the brake failure, a staffer at the Parbat District Police Office told THT Online over phone.
