Three Nepalis die in Missouri car accident

KATHMANDU: Three Nepalis have died in a car accident in the state of Missouri, United States of America, on Tuesday.

According to The Joplin Globe, a local news portal in Missouri, the Toyota RAV4 car driven by Pravash Ojha of Blue Springs was rammed from behind by a Toyota pickup truck when the car carrying Ojha and family had stopped at the traffic light.

The deceased has been identified as Sraddha Ojha Khanal (wife of Pravash), Shanta Kanal and Govinda Khanal (parents of Shraddha).

Meanwhile, Pravash Ojha and his four-year-old son sustained injuries in the accident. It has been reported that Pravash is in a stable condition whereas his son is critical.

The Joplin Globe reported that identity of the pickup driver who was involved in the accident has not been released. Meanwhile, the accident is being investigated by the major crash team of Joplin Police Department.
