KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15
Three newly appointed ministers took the oath of office and secrecy before President Paudel during a special ceremony held at the President's Office on Monday.
President Ramchandra Paudel, acting on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, swore in three newly appointed ministers under Article 80 of the Constitution of Nepal.
Cabinet line-up:
Sushila Karki – Prime Minister: Holds key ministries including Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Agriculture and Livestock Development; Water Supply; Foreign Affairs; Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Youth and Sports; Defence; Forests and Environment; Education, Science and Technology; Labour, Employment and Social Security; Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Federal Affairs and General Administration; Communications and Information Technology; and Health and Population.
Rameshwar Prasad Khanal – Finance Minister
Kulman Ghising – Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Physical Infrastructure and Transport; and Urban Development
Om Prakash Aryal – Minister for Home Affairs; Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs
The three ministers took the oath of office and secrecy as part of the cabinet formed on Bhadra 27.
