RAMECHHAP: Forest Product Check Post Kavre arrested three persons involved in the smuggling of Argeli tree bark and handed them over to the District Forest Office Ramechhap. That Bahadur Karki and two others, including the driver of a truck, were smuggling 1,512 kg of Argeli bark from the forest of Ramechhap when they were arrested at Panchkhal Forest Check Post. Karki was permitted to buy 1,000 kg of Argeli. The bark is used for making notes in Japan and it is necessary to take permission to buy Argeli, Forest Officer Rajesh Karna said. — RSS
