DHADING: Police have arrested three persons who were riding on two motorcycles possessing four kilograms of undeclared gold in Gajuri Rural Municipality-1 in Dhading district last night. The arrested have been identified as Sanjeet Waiba (27) of Uttargaya Rural Municipality-3 in Rasuwa district, and Surendra Tamang (22) and Bikash Tamang (24), both residents of Tarakeshwar Rural Municipality-5 in Nuwakot district. According to chief of Dhading District Police Office, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dambar Bahadur BK, the youths riding on two motorcycles (Ba 87 Pa 7731) and (Province 3, 02-003 Pa 2540) were arrested in possession of gold during security check conducted in front of Siddheshwari Temple, at around 9:45 pm yesterday. Police have also impounded both the two-wheelers. SP BK informed that the youths were heading towards Malekhu from Galchhi along the Prithvi Highway. The arrested would be sent to the Department of Revenue Investigation for further investigation into the case, police informed.
