TIA to have flight info centre

A flight information centre is to be opened at the Tribhuvan International Airport to inform people of the daily flight schedules. An electronic information board is to be placed at the Golden Gate of the TIA for the purpose and there is a plan to install an Automated Teller Machine inside the airport.
Reception desks are to be placed in arrival and departure rooms to serve passengers. The new facility is expected to be set up within 15 days. A token system will be introduced on a first come first basis at the ticket sales counters at the office of Royal Nepal Airlines in Kathmandu. Meanwhile, a three-member supervision committee has been formed to report on the situation at the TIA to the secretary every Friday.
