Time card system for public vehicles in offing
Sindhulimadhi, May 27
District Administration Office, Sindhuli is all set to introduce time card system for public vehicles plying the BP Highway with the aim of curbing road accidents.
A meeting of stakeholders chaired by Chief District Officer Tara Bahadur Karki took a decision to this effect. The new rule will come into effect from June 15.
A five-member committee headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Kumar Saru Magar has been formed to make necessary preparations for implementing the rule.
The time card system will be implemented from Bhiman to Kusheshwor Dumja (a 95-kilometre stretch road) along the BP Highway in Sindhuli.
Area Police Office Bhiman, District Traffic Police Office, Police Post Khaniyakharka, Area Police Office Khurkot, Police Post Jhara and Police Post Dumja will examine the cards, said CDO Karki.
