Time now for economic development, says Gyawali

Vice-Chairman of the CPN-UML Yubaraj Gyawali said today that the country has become successful in political struggles and the time has come for economic prosperity. So, setting the agenda for econonic development is essential, he said.
At a function in Pokhara, UML vice-chairman Gyawali said the new constitution ensuerd inclusion and proportional representatio. Unity among all political parties is a must for its effective implementation, he said. He urged the party cadres to be active and educate the people about the contents of the constitution.
On the occasion, party secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung said party cadres could help bring socio-economic transformation in the country.
Alternate politburo member and in-charge of Ganddaki region of the party Jagat Bishwokarma said the party would soon make public its policy and programmes.
Advisory council member of the party Khagaraj Adhikari, argued that it was because of the people’s multi-party democracy the party advocated the country made this progress.
